NTT- New Tune Tuesday, that is.

First, I would like to invite you one last time to check out my very special guest today at 2pm. Colbie Caillat will be in the Alice Studio to chat with me and sign a few autographs for lucky A-List members who won a spot in house while Colbie visits. With that said:

Here are some of the new releases for today: February 12th, 2008

Michael Jackson- Thriller 25
25 stands for 25 years... wow! It's pretty safe to say that Jackson has taken the hugest album of all time and commemorated it in a pretty awesome way! There are 7 bonus tracks (6 you've never heard before), including remixes from Kanye West, Akon, Fergie etc...

Also included, a bonus DVD and a color booklet with rare pics and lyrics. Definitely some delish goodies for the MJ fan.

Widespread Panic- Free Somehow
This makes album 17 for WP. If you've followed them live, don't think you've heard these tunes before because a lot of them were not debuted during touring. That is fairly unusual for WP... true fans would agree!

Simple Plan- Simple Plan
3 albums in and Simple Plan has proved that you can grow and evolve without losin' it. This is probably my favorite album so far from these guys. True, it's a bit of a departure from their first two, but in my first couple listens, I found the changes fun and sonically pleasing.

Type O Negative- Dead Again (Deluxe CD/DVD)
Ok... I love Type O and I have plenty I could say about them, but when I read the product description on Amazon, I had to chuckle to myself. I can't beat this:

Just in time for Valentine s Day... The perfect gift for your girlfriend s girlfriend... If she happens to be a Christian woman, she might feel a bit threatened, but she can always sit back and watch Reverend Steele and the Drab Four ministry preach to 70,000 adoring fans at the 2007 Wacken Open Air on the bonus DVD.

Other releases:
Natalie Grant- Relentless
Nancy LaMott- Ask Me Again

Thanks for reading,
Sam
